Gaza and Palestine still continuously are being attacked since 1948 until now which recently started on last Wednesday (14th November 2012). Their peak of cruelty against the values of humanity and international law is only to fulfil their agenda in forming the state of Israel. Certainly, united States are their allies in ensuring their interest are successfully accomplished.
Recently, Israel has stated its commitment in mobilising for Gaza invention by pounding to 1000 targets including headquarters and military post of HAMAS in Gaza. Their mission since last Wednesday has killed more than 50 civilians and hundreds of them are severely injured.
Gaza is in critical situation. With the total civilians near to 1.7 million, it has made Gaza as the one of the most congested popoluation in the world. More than 10% of children whom their age at 5 years old, their growth has been…, more than 30% of them are living jobless and every 1 or 5 children are suffering with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Moreover, 45% of the civilians are living in poverty. Their daily necessities and homes were being destroyed by Isreal
Updated news is disquiet, Israel and its allies are not impossible to proceed their violence in Gaza in “Six Days War” in 1967 until colonisation the land of Palestine, Sinai Peninsula and Golan Hills. Also, Operation Cast Lead in 2008 which has killed 1000 people of Gaza, Israel shall ready to pursue their violence more than that. If there is no participation of the world societies including other Islamic countries neighbouring to the Palestine, as well as international organisations in stopping this violence, Great War could be started.
So far, Alhamdulillah, many individuals and organisation has played their vital role against this violent. In the international level, Turkey and Egypt has shown their responsibilities. Arab League, OIC and EU should be firmer and taking more collective and comprehensive steps. PBB also should implement justice in fulfilling their functions and not only be the follower of Israel and US by following their desires based on making excuses “rights and the responsibility to protect the Israelits”. In Malaysia, government, political parties, Islamic NGO, human rights organization, media and its society shall be together in saving the people of Gaza and the land of Palestine.
With regard of the long history of Gaza and Palestine, GAMIS is very confident and believe that the approach of ‘two state solution’ is unable to revive peacefulness in Gaza that has been invaded by the Zionist since the decades ago. GAMIS completely support the commitment of HAMAS and the Palestinians to keep working with Israel in terms of sacrificing the blood and life. After having a meeting with the Egypt’s ambassador last Friday, GAMIS will have a meeting with the Turkey’s ambassador on Tuesday
